It started as a limited edition in 2014. Then it went into regular production the following year. Now, the Don Reynaldo brand from Warped celebrates a decade on the market with the new 10th Anniversary, which is not only a larger size than the original corona, but more full-bodied as well. It will ship to retailers next week.
Made in Miami at the El Titan de Bronze factory, the Don Reynaldo ‘Grand Reynaldo’ 10th Anniversary is a toro-sized smoke measuring 6 inches by 50 ring gauge—beefed up from the original 5 by 46. Kyle Gellis of Warped says that the internal tobaccos for the new cigar “have been tweaked to offer a more full-bodied expression of the classic Don Reynaldo blend.”
Don Reynaldo
Like the original, the Grand Reynaldo is made with a Dominican Corojo wrapper and Nicaraguan binder. Inside is a stronger blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos. The cigars will have a suggested retail price of $24 each and come in 10-count boxes. Only 750 boxes are being produced.
Don Reynaldo was created in honor of Gellis’ father, Ronald, who, Gellis says, groomed him “into the cigar lifestyle since I was a kid.”
